Meet Hannah Lopez: Building a Business Through Consistency, Community, and Courage

When you ask Hannah Lopez what has made the biggest difference in her entrepreneurial journey, her answer isn't marketing, sales, or even accounting.

It's community.

"Community has been the only way for me to get ahead."

That belief is one of the many reasons Hannah became part of the Ember Women community—to surround herself with ambitious women who genuinely want to support one another as they grow their businesses.

As the founder of Lopez & Associates, LLC, Hannah helps business owners feel confident in one of the most intimidating parts of entrepreneurship: their finances. Her firm provides tax preparation and filing, bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting services, giving entrepreneurs the financial clarity they need to make informed decisions and build sustainable businesses.

This summer marked a major milestone for Hannah as she celebrated her first anniversary in business on July 14, 2026. For many entrepreneurs, the first year is filled with uncertainty, long hours, and countless lessons. Looking back, Hannah is proud of how far she's come and grateful for every client, connection, and opportunity that helped her reach this milestone.

The Lesson Every Business Owner Needs to Hear

When asked about the biggest lesson she's learned recently, Hannah didn't hesitate.

"There is a need for your business—you just need to get your name out there consistently."

It's simple advice, but it's something many entrepreneurs need to hear. Success doesn't usually come from one viral post or one lucky opportunity. More often, it's the result of consistently showing up, serving your audience, and letting people know how you can help.

The Power of Connection

If Hannah could give one piece of advice to other women in business, it would be this:

Make and nurture your connections. Ask your circle to support your business.

Relationships have played an important role in her growth, and she's experienced firsthand how powerful it is when women champion one another's success. That's exactly what she was looking for when she joined Ember Women—a community where collaboration matters more than competition.

While many people wait until tax season to think about their finances, Hannah encourages business owners to plan ahead. Right now, she's focused on mid-year tax planning, helping clients make proactive financial decisions before the end of the year. It's one of the best ways to reduce stress, uncover opportunities, and prepare for long-term success.

More Than an Accountant

Here's something many Ember Women may not know about Hannah:

She's an endurance athlete currently training for the Los Angeles Marathon in March 2027, and one of her long-term goals is to complete a full Ironman. That same discipline shows up in every part of her life. Whether she's preparing for a marathon or helping a client navigate their finances, Hannah understands that meaningful progress happens one step at a time.

At Ember Women, we believe every woman has a story worth sharing. Hannah's story is a reminder that growing a business isn't just about numbers—it's about perseverance, consistency, and surrounding yourself with people who believe in your success.

We're grateful to have Hannah as part of the Ember Women community and can't wait to watch what she accomplishes in the years ahead. Congratulations, Hannah, on an incredible first year in business. Here's to many more milestones, meaningful connections, and continued success.
